PERSON planning
Schedule contributors
In the program planner, you can schedule contributors with the following roles:
Invited speakers
Chairs
Moderators
Abstract presenters
1. Invited speakers
Persons with the role of "invited speaker" are scheduled via the program type "lecture" by assigning the person to the relevant lecture.
This can also be linked to the presentation if the speaker has submitted an abstract.
> Schedule speakers (with abstracts)
2. and 3. moderator and/or chairperson
People in these roles schedule sessions, lectures or (non-scientific) events as required.
Technically, there is no difference between these two roles.
> Schedule chairs or moderators
4. Abstract Presenters
Presenters, whether oral or poster, are planned via the abstract. The list of authors in the abstract will indicate which person(s) has/have the role of "presenter".
> Plan session with presentation times
> Plan a poster session
Add/import contributors
With the exception of abstract presenters, persons can be added to the system in the following ways:
Add persons in the "User" ("Create new user") section
Add the new role ("Assign user roles") of person already entered in "Users"
Add persons during planning
Importing contributors
When planning a program in Smart Abstract, you can import (or have imported) the usually numerous participants. Here you will find the import file to prepare them:
Menu: Open "Statistics & download"
Tab: Open "Templates"
Select the "Import template: Invited speakers, moderators, chairpersons" under "Imports".
