Delete abstract
Edit abstract
If abstracts have been submitted more than once or for testing purposes, you can remove/withdraw them from the submission process. Deleting an abstracts is not possible but it is not necessary either.
Abstracts that have not been submitted or withdrawn are not taken into account:
for the review, planning or in statistics
for invoicing
Withdraw test abstract
Navigate to
> Abstracts & Reviews
> Abstracts (without review process)
Open the abstract to be removed by clicking the edit icon
. The abstract editing mode will open.
Switch to the "Withdraw" tab and confirm by clicking the
Yes, withdraw submission
button.
The "Withdraw" tab is not visible?
If the "Withdraw" tab is not visible, the abstract is already in the planning phase (see below).
The withdrawn abstract is still visible in the abstract list?
If the abstract is still visible in the abstract overview, click the Update entries
button located above and below the list on the right:

Alternatively, you can use the "Users" section to search for submitted test abstracts.
Navigate to
> User
Select the abstract in the right-hand column ‘Abstracts’
Open the abstract to be removed via the linked abstract number e.g.
A-303
. The abstract editing mode will open.Switch to the "Withdraw" tab and confirm by clicking the

button.
Note: Only the test abstracts that have actually been submitted (black font colour) need to be removed. You can ignore all other abstracts (orange and grey font colour).
"Withdraw" tab not visible?
Abstracts cannot be withdrawn once the evaluation/planning process has begun. Accordingly, the ‘Withdraw’ tab is not visible in the abstract editing form.
If you still want to withdraw an abstract from the process, e.g. because
it has been submitted multiple times, please contact us
