Roles an rights


You can manage the roles and rights of persons. Here is an overview of the available roles and how they are used.

1. Roles with access rights

Persons with the following roles can work actively in the system. The "Author" role is set automatically during registration, all other roles are assigned in the "Users" module or created by importing persons.

  • Submitter

    - Submits abstracts and can edit them until the deadline

  • Invited Speaker
    - Can be combined with the role of "Submitter" to submit an abstract. These abstracts will be managed as invited submissions in the program.
    - Scheduled in the "Program Planning" module under the "Presentation" program type.

  • Reviewer
    - module "Review" - reviews abstracts

  • Chair
    - "Program Planning" module – scheduled to chair sessions
    - "Program Planning" module – can schedule sessions themselves
    - "Reviewers" module – can make final decisions on acceptance and rejection as a reviewer

  • Chair
    - "Program Planning" module – scheduled to chair sessions

2. Roles without access rights

  • Presenter
    - Module submission – defined in the list of authors for an abstract

    - Module program planning – can be managed in the "Persons" section

  • First author/co-author

    - Module "Submission" – defined when creating an abstract
