Late-Breaking Abstracts

Submit abstract

To incorporate the latest scientific developments into the program, the late-breaking abstract submission process enables contributions to be submitted shortly before the congress begins.

To submit a late-breaking abstract, please follow these steps:

1. Set a deadline
To activate the late breaking abstract deadline

Navigate to
> Settings
> Deadlines

Then set the desired date.

2. Customise guidelines
To adjust the guidelines, switch to the "Settings" section.

Navigate to
> Text templates
> Guidelines

You can use the placeholder function for the deadline date to ensure that the date in the guidelines is always correct, even if you extend the deadline.

3. Customise text on the login gate page
After the regular submission period ends, a gate page is automatically inserted between the login pages for submitters and reviewers. This page contains information stating that the system is closed.
If you wish to use the late-breaking abstract procedure, this text will need adjusting. Depending on how much preparation is required, we can implement the amendment for you at a minimal additional cost.

Please email us the text (including the heading and the main content) that you would like to appear on the login gate page.

4. Adjust the submission form if necessary
Check whether the abstract submission form needs adjusting, and inform us of any required changes.
